The City of Richmond is undertaking an update of the Steveston Village Conservation Strategy and is reviewing options for streetscape improvements on Chatham Street and Bayview Street.

The intent is to fine-tune certain aspects of the Conservation Strategy such as:

  • maximum building heights, permitted density and on-site parking requirements
  • enhance the streetscape and improve on-street parking along Chatham Street and Bayview Street
