Who installed the artwork?

The artwork was installed by the artist with support from the Richmond Public Art Program, InTransit BC, TransLink and the owner of Brighouse Square and its managing agent, Dorset Realty Group.

    How was the artwork funded?

The Art Plinth is funded from public art contributions by private developers for artwork in the City Centre. Private developments within the City of Richmond are asked to participate in the Public Art Program.

As the value and benefits of public art become apparent, participation in the program has increased. The public art contribution rate for private sector public art projects is 0.5% of the estimated project construction cost. Private development public art projects are reviewed by an independent arms-length panel of advisors.
