    Since our last engagement:

An updated parking study for Steveston is currently underway. In the past, it was found that over 1,000 public parking spaces are available within 5 minutes (walk) of Steveston Village, with over 500 of these spaces being completely free for public use. The updated parking study will consider any changes to parking in the area and use traffic data in Steveston to determine if there is sufficient car parking for current and future scenarios.

TransLink will be conducting a public engagement campaign to receive feedback on the Steveston Transit Exchange bus route, which is proposed to be moved west on Chatham Street between Fourth Avenue and Sixth Avenue until an off-street option can be financed. You can see the Report to Council in the Documents section of this LetsTalkRichmond.ca page.
