On January 17, 2024, Entro presented the Community Wayfinding Strategy's (CWS) Design Concepts to the CWS working group comprised of representatives from City staff and Tourism Richmond.

As design is an iterative process, these designs led to further conversations and a workshop in March regarding the Richmond welcome experience. This resulted in the development of an additional welcome sign option now included in the design concepts.

Your input is needed to help finalize the design concepts. This will be done through this short survey which includes questions about the base colour, zone maps and the welcome signs. All comments regarding the design concepts are welcome and appreciated.

HOW TO SHARE YOUR INPUT:

Review the attached Richmond Design Review document. The questions reference this document.

  • Foundations of the design are pages 1 -15.
  • Signage Design starts on page 16.
  • Examples of the designs in situ (mock-ups) start on page 43.

Complete the survey – DEADLINE is Monday, April 15.

Note: These questions pertain to physical signage. Digital wayfinding, which can be a variety of tools, will employ elements of the final design and colour palette.
