Building Our Future Together

Over the next decade, Richmond will continue its focused path of building a stronger, more inclusive community—and you are invited to help shape how this happens.

The City has drafted a new 10-year Social Development Strategy to help guide the us and our partners to meet the community’s social needs. Multiple opportunities are available until Sunday, October 26, 2025 for residents and community partners to connect with staff and provide input that will help shape Richmond’s social priorities.

You are encouraged to review the draft strategy (found in the Documents section) and provide input to help guide Richmond’s next decade, identify any gaps and ensure it reflects the community’s priorities.
