About this Project
Steveston Community Centre and Library Replacement
The City of Richmond is building a brand-new community centre and library to replace the existing facility.
Approved in 2019, the 60,350 sq. ft. centre will be located in the southeast corner of Steveston Park and will provide space for local programs, regional events, and the needs of a growing community. Construction is well underway, with the new facility scheduled to open in late 2026. To make room for this next chapter, the existing Steveston Community Centre and Library will close on December 1, 2025.
