Thank you for your interest in participating. We are recruiting up to 15 seniors (aged 55+) to help identify opportunities to make the Gilmore and Shellmont neighbourhoods more age-friendly.
Applications to participate are being accepted until 5:00pm on Thursday, September 18, 2025.
Age-friendly neighbourhoods support seniors with wide-ranging needs and resources to remain healthy, active and engaged. For this reason, we are seeking seniors living in the Gilmore and Shellmont neighbourhoods with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, needs and abilities to participate.
Neighbourhood Group Details
- Up to 15 participants will be selected based on eligibility and availability. Selection will be made amongst eligible applicants, with steps taken to ensure diverse representation.
- No special expertise is required.
- To be eligible, applicants must be age 55+ and live in the Gilmore / Shellmont neighbourhoods.
- All applicants will be notified of the status of their application by Friday, September 26, 2025.
- The Gilmore / Shellmont Neighbourhood Group will meet five (5) times from October to November.
- A final report and recommendations will be published in early 2026.
