Thank you for being interested in shaping the future of Richmond.

We are asking all Richmond residents to participate in our 2015 Community Needs Assessment - a project to collect the thoughts, experiences and opinions on current Richmond parks and trails, opportunities for recreation and sports, arts, culture and heritage, as well as childcare.

Your input will help us complete the assessment which will identify satisfaction levels, unmet needs and barriers to participation, and help identify recommendations for addressing gaps. Your response and opinions are critical in helping us make better informed decisions about facilities, services, and programs.

Here's how you can participate:

  • Telephone Survey, May 19 - June 30, 2015: the research firm, Mustel Group, has been hired by the City to conduct a survey on behalf of the City. Mustel Group will be randomly calling Richmond residents to obtain feedback. If you receive a call, please participate.
  • Online survey, June 1-30,2015: You can complete an online version of the telephone survey by clicking the Survey link below.
  • Focus groups, June 15-30,2015: We will be hosting a series of in-person focus groups that will give residents an opportunity to have their thoughts and opinions heard. Please look under Important Dates on this site for more informaton.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please call 604-276-4000 or visit the City's website. Now let's get started.
