Economic Development Strategy

The City of Richmond is developing a new Economic Development Strategy to help inform Richmond's economic direction over the next decade.

The Strategy is anticipated to help identify how the City and community partners can build on Richmond's strengths, respond to changing economic conditions, and support a resilient and prosperous community.

Work to date

After Council approved the development of a new Economic Development Strategy, significant work has taken place, including robust public and sector engagement, economic research and analysis, the development of Guiding Principles, and the delivery of a What We Heard report.
