What is happening

The playground at Albert Airey Neighbourhood Park was built in 2002. The playground includes a play structure, activity panel and swings. Due to its age, when repairs are needed, replacement parts are no longer readily available. Most of the equipment is in poor condition and in need of a refresh.

We want your input

We are seeking your feedback on the current playground and ideas for its future renewal. As part of the planning process, we are committed to gathering feedback from area residents and other stakeholders. The insight gathered will help shape the playground design and influence the selection of play equipment.

This renewal is intended to replace and improve the existing neighbourhood playground within the current park footprint and available budget.

Construction is slated to begin in 2027.
