What is happening

The playground at Dover Neighbourhood Park was built in the 1990s. The playground includes a play structure, embankment slide, springer and swings. The play equipment is outdated and does not meet established best practices for inclusive, accessible design and operation. Due to its age, when repairs are needed, replacement parts are no longer readily available. Most of the equipment is in poor condition and in need of a refresh. We are seeking input on the existing playground and ideas for its future renewal.

We want your input

The City is seeking your feedback on the current playground and ideas for its future renewal. As part of the planning process, we are committed to gathering feedback from area residents and other stakeholders. The insight gathered will help shape the playground design and influence the selection of play equipment.

Construction is slated to begin in early 2026.
