Background on the draft plan
- It was developed with input from over 750 residents and partners through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and community pop-up events.
- It proposes a destination vision and three goals with corresponding strategic initiatives to guide tourism development over the next decade.
- It was jointly developed by the City of Richmond, Tourism Richmond and the Richmond Hotel Association, with extensive input from community members, tourism operators and other interest holders.
